Contextual Parametrics
The process for this was built around seeing the site as data, an array of information, and how this can be interpreted, twisted, and represented to create design parameters or constraints, resulting in a form which is defined by the environment. Using literal site conditions such as wind gusts (applied as accurate, numerical values), and more theoretical conditions such as turbulence fields and attraction fields to effect an emission of particles. The software used for this was Autodesk Maya. The final form is intentionally without programme, envisioned here as a climbing frame for use in the event of escape or a similar activity.
